I bought a second bobbin case so I have a heavy and a normal tension case to make switching between different materials a little easier. If you ever lose that pin, well then you've got a really expensive paperweight. All those previous machines had a significant point of failure. For example, a couple of years ago I bought my Consew 206RB-5 new for less than my Sailrite LSZ-1 Premium cost. And having a true triple feed walking foot makes it more capable. During my research I found a new Juki 1541 locally that was just a few hundred euros more. I ended up with a completely different type of machine at the end. There's no domestic machine as capable as the Sailrite, but what you plan to sew is really what dictates which machine you choose. The price looks competitive, the machine looks nice and Sailrite have a great reputation for customer service. Sailrite adds a nice case and a better flywheel and motor. Sailrite wrote a manual for it which is very useful but they also included the manufacturer's manual which is all in Chinese. The Sailrite Fabricator apparently has this feature. So I cant really say. Anyone have experience with Sailrite or Juki customer service for issues with their machines? From what I've read on blogs and other sites the customer service by Sailrite is outstanding, and there are technicians who will send you videos and walk you through basic maintenance and Most of my experience with sailrite has been with the machines they produced before the Fabricator. It is a Chinese industrial machine which can be had for half the price from other vendors. It's the pin you need to pull out of the crank wheel and reposition in order to wind the bobbin.
